I have known Gareth for around sixty years. My abiding memory of him is that he was always on the go. When we went to visit, his love of big, ambitious projects, meant there was always something interesting going on. Together Vicky and Gareth made a life around their art. Wales was always an inspiration for Gareth. I was given a print, for a wedding present, in the 1960's. It is still as evocative of Gareth's Wales now as it was then. We miss him.
